Content Production Intern

Communitey is seeking a part-time intern, in the Atlanta area, to provide critical support to our VP-Content. Primary duties include reviewing media outlets for nonprofit related news, information and events; developing questions, interviewing, editing and posting interviews with leaders in the nonprofit community; reviewing Communitey blog and forum postings for inappropriate content; responding to all content-related inquires and other duties as needed. In addition to providing overall site content support, interns have the opportunity to interact regularly with the Communitey team on various projects and events.

This position is an unpaid, part-time internship. Interns must be willing and able to work at least 10 hours per week, for 3 months, and have Internet access. Most assignments can be performed remotely and the hours are flexible. (Gain valuable experience with no commuting and during the hours most suitable to your schedule!)

Communitey can work with school guidelines so that interns receive academic credit or other acknowledgement.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants must have strong communication (written and oral) skills. Attention to detail and self-motivation are essential for success. The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and independently is essential. A degree or background in journalism, communications, or English is desired but not mandatory. A highly-desired applicant will be motivated by the ability to learn from our team, make an immediate contribution and gain valuable experience.

Internet Marketing Intern

Communitey is seeking a part-time intern, in the Atlanta area, to provide critical support to our VP-Marketing. Primary duties include conducting online marketing initiatives to drive site traffic; enhancing Communitey’s presence on social media sites (e.g. MySpace, Facebook, etc.); tracking marketing campaign effectiveness; tracking and reporting site visitor metrics and making recommendations to increase visits based on analysis; developing promotional campaigns to drive market awareness and brand recognition; developing and executing internal e-mail campaigns and other duties as needed. In addition to providing overall site marketing support, interns have the opportunity to interact regularly with the Communitey team on various projects and events.
